Visiting Daddy’s Office
On Friday we got a chance to visit Daddy’s office. The NRO had a family day event, complete with face painting, fire trucks, and a moon bounce. We ate lunch in the cafeteria, saw Daddy’s desk, met some co-workers, and checked out the classic cars. Matthew picked up a balloon dog and both boys got fire fighter hats.

I know what you’re thinking. “That’s not a picture of an office. That’s your kitchen.”
This is true. Even on family day, there is strict security at the NRO. No cameras are allowed. No cameras, no cell phones, no recording devices of any kind. No weapons, either, but since we don’t carry them this wasn’t any big deal.
So, we had a great time, but we couldn’t take a shot of the boys twirling in the office chair, lounging on the lobby couch, or smearing chocolate in their hair.
Perhaps that’s just as well.
