Semantics

This little anecdote from our vacation has nothing to do with the photos I have, but it was funny. I think it shows how toddlers interpret their world.

My father-in-law pointed out a bare spot in the lawn left from some yard work. Matthew turned to me and reported on this (something he does a lot). “Mommy! There is a spot in the yard where the bear messed it up” he said, as he gestured wildly with his fake bear claws.

Even when its your native language, English can be tricky.
