Assateague Island

Today we took a field trip to

This island is known for their wild horses (ponies) which we weren’t sure we would get to see. We did…

… in the window of our car! He figured out we didn’t have any food and moved on.

We had a great time in one of the park areas. The water was a little cold at first, but we acclimated. Once again, I failed to pack a swim suit or a towel.

Matthew walked and walked and walked and walked.

David enjoyed playing in the sand.

We took a short walk through the marsh, too.

The car ride home was pretty quiet.

OMG. Clem is going to be so jealous. I think I’m going to have to take him to Assateague so he can see the ponies for himself.

  2. SK replied:

Love the pony in the car ; ) I think the kids would love that.
