…party, party!

Our weekend of festivities continued through Sunday with church, Sunday school (not a party, per se, but an activity nonetheless) and then a family bbq with our long-time play group. The bbq part was a bust since it has turned cold this weekend. The kids played some outside, but the rest of us stayed in-doors. Fifteen adults and fifteen children, four of them babies under a year. You can imagine the chaos.

The hosts have a great train table that Matthew always loves. Now that David is mobile, he was able to join the fun in his own way.

Matthew had some trains strung together and he was running them along the tracks like a pro. David had a train car and a tree which he happily smashed into each other. We try not to read too much into this kind of thing.

James joined them at the table for some train fun, too.

It was a great time. We have been a play group for a year and a half. By spring we will all have been through second pregnancies together. It’s a kind of support system I have been blessed to have.
