Raking

Yesterday afternoon we took an hour to work on raking the front yard. Matthew was very excited to go out and jump in the piles. He grabbed a rake and got started. He was not very helpful, but he was very motivated.

Once we got a good pile he jumped in.

David was not convinced that this was “fun.”

Then it was time to put the leaves in bags. Matthew insisted on using his sand shovel. Tuns out, he was pretty helpful with this.

We chugged right along and were feeling pretty good about ourselves until we realized the big tree in the front yard was still full of leaves.

Maybe Matthew will get better with practice.
