The Feast

We had a table full of food for Thanksgiving. Everyone pitched in, although Grandma and Aunt Kai did most of the cooking that day. Yeye managed to get a group shots before we ate.

In order to keep the kids out of the kitchen, I managed a small cookie making workshop in the breakfast room. We made pilgrim hats and turkeys.

Matthew enjoyed the turkey cookie.

He carefully ate all the candy corn feathers, then the M&M eyes, then the fruit roll-up beak and waddle. When there was nothing left to scavenge, he ate the cookie part.

I liked the pilgrim hats. Rolo tops and fudge ripple brims…. mmm mmm yummy!
