Easter Breakfast

After church on Sunday, we headed over to Nana and Grandpa’s for breakfast. They had thoughtfully hid some eggs for the boys to find.

Matthew was delighted. He ran through the yard picking up eggs and stuffing them in his basket.

David dragged the basket around behind him all over the yard. If we pointed out an egg, he’d pick it up. Otherwise he just liked being outside on a sunny day.

After the egg hunt, the real fun began. Matthew decided to re-hide the eggs. In the bushes. Deep in the bushes.

Aunt Susie retrieved them, as a good God Mother should.

David spilled his basket. More than once.

It was such a treat to watch them have fun. It made the morning fun for all of us.
