Field Trip

Our pre-school field trip was Thursday. We all met a Meadowlark Gardens for a tour and some time outside. The weather was “iffy”, like every other day this week, but dry by 10 am. Since it was a family event, David and Grandpa joined us.

We let the kids go in the direction they wanted, which proved to be a mistake. We ended up at the top of a hill to nowhere, took a dirt road back, and were pretty tired when we made it back to the pretty part of the garden.

At which point it started to rain.

So, we headed inside.

The rain continued, and with nowhere covered to eat a picnic, we headed for Chick-fil-A for lunch, and then home for naps.
