Happy 4th of July!

As much as I loved looking at the shamrock hand prints on my fridge, I felt it was time for a change.

I convinced the boys to make hand print fire works.

Since Matthew still refuses to go near any actual fire works, this is as close as we will get to the real thing this year.

David doesn’t have an opinion on fire works, since he has never really seen any. He just enjoyed painting his hands.

We hope to spend the 4th of July going to the Folk Life Festival downtown, but we have been dealing with some serious “‘tummy distress” for nine days (but who’s counting?) so we’ll see what actually happens.

July 4, 2010. family, holidays, the boys.
