Matthew The Super Shopper

On Friday night, I took the boys to church for the annual Christmas Shop and spaghetti dinner. Teen volunteers help the younger kids shop for gifts to give their parents and siblings while the parents sit and enjoy dinner.

I sent both boys off with $6 to buy a gift for Mommy, Daddy, and the other brother.

Matthew came back with three gifts and $5.60 change.

No, I’m not kidding. He spent a whopping $0.40 on all three of us.

I cannot wait until Christmas morning to see what delightful items he picked out for us.

He enjoyed himself so much, he wanted to go back. At the end of the evening, I handed him a dollar and told him he could back through. He and Sara raced off to see what else they could buy.

He got her a gift, which she had to open right away.

Festive bracelets! She put them right on.

Everyone had a good time, and I left with most of the money I brought. Score.
