Sledding With Daddy

On Saturday, the boys went out sledding.

My only explanation for sledding without sleds is that Daddy was in charge.

Eventually they grabbed their sleds and headed for the back yard.

David got a good push from Daddy.

Matthew liked getting a Daddy-sized push, too.

It was so much fun, they went back for more.

And more.

And more, but at some point I had to stop taking pictures.

We have enjoyed the snow. We really have. But we have been out of school (between snow, ice, the weekend, and teacher work days) for seven straight days. Seven.

These kids have got to go back to school.

The weather gurus are predicting a big fat ice storm tonight. They have got to be wrong.

Must. Be. Wrong.

February 1, 2011. Daddy, David, Matthew, the boys.

Did the ice-storm cometh? Did the kids go back to school? Did Steven ever explain going sledding without sleds?

Ice storm? No – thank heavens!
Back to school? Yes! – see above!
Sleds? No idea. Maybe he’ll tell me when he gets around to reading the blog himself.
