Holiday Spectacular! Part II

The first graders had their evening performance on Monday night for parents and family. Nana, Grandpa, David, Daddy and I headed out to cheer on our favorite penguin.

Waddling Penguins

Our favorite penguin

Steven did a better job with videos.  Here is the second song the penguins sang.

I especially like how Matthew yawned at the beginning. It is bedtime, after all.

Here are a few videos of the songs the first graders sang together.

“Marshmallow World”

“Jingle Bell Rock”

and a charming song the kids signed, “Put Your Hand in My Hand.”

The evening performance was lovely, but with so many adults it  was crowded are hard to see. David made it through Matthew’s section, then he needed to go walk around. I was glad to have seen it in the morning when I could really take it all in. I think the first graders enjoyed being out late at night singing and dancing for the families. At least, mine sure did.
